The Equestrian and Horse Racing Club is Governing Authority for horseracing in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is responsible for the integrity of horseracing.
Our responsibilities are categories as follows:
- Regulating Racing.
- Strategic planning and policy for Racing
- Race Planning, including the supervision of race programmes and the employment of racing officials including full and part time employees.
- Promoting Racing.
- Controlling and administrating Racing.
- Protecting the sport’s integrity.
- Encouraging and fostering the breeding industry.
- Providing veterinary services for race horses.
- Licensing of Trainers, riders, stable lads (Grooms) and registration of owners.
- Conducting disciplinary matters.
- Anti-doping control.
